$LNG the only thing I'm thinking about with this position is how much of a war premium is in this one. These guys export volumes and the henry hub spread versus asian and european gas prices makes this one very attractive. IMO: deal or no deal in Iran the effects of the war are irrereversable and energy diversification is permanent. I'm waiting for earnings as we saw with $EQT increased volumes are offsetting falling prices at Henry Hub $UNG
EQT $EQT is up 6.0% over five days while Cheniere $LNG is down 3.4%, a divergence worth watching both ways. Domestic gas production is catching a bid even as the LNG export channel softens, which could mean the market is pricing EQT as a supply story rather than a global-price story. If export rates recover, EQT likely closes this gap higher; if the weakness in the export names is pricing a demand-side slowdown, EQT's run looks ahead of the fundamentals.
